This scrumptious sweetened chestnut paste is prepared by Nutley Farms using fresh chestnuts sourced from France. Natural chestnuts make up 60% of this rich paste, which are slowly cooked with water, sugar and vanilla extract before being processed to create this magnificent, slightly gritty spread.

Nutley Farms provides a variety of several different, delicious nut products, all of which focus on serving a chef’s needs in confectionery, baking and savory recipes. Store this paste at room temperature before use in order to take full advantage of the buttery and sweet taste of the chestnuts, mingled with a subtle earthiness - but refrigerate once opened.

Our sweetened chestnut paste is conveniently ready-to-use and ideal for pastry and confectionery applications. It is sublime when incorporated into fillings, creams, ganache, ice cream, buttercreams for cakes, petit fours, cookies, choux pastries. Be mindful of recipes that require or consist of a lot of additional sugar as this chestnut paste is already sweetened.
