Appaloosa Beans - Dry
This pretty little bean is mottled purplish white, like the coat of the Appaloosa horses of the Pacific Northwest. The bean itself is very mild, and used for chili or as side dishes. Add them to soups, casseroles ,rice dishes, burritos, and any other recipe that calls for beans. Can be used as a substitute for pinto or black beans.
