Los Villares Picual Extra Virgin Olive Oil
This classic Spanish extra virgin olive oil has the intensity of just-pressed olives. Picuals are one of Spain's most famous olive varietals, characterized by a strong flavor and aroma, with a peppery, slightly bitter aftertaste. Use for cold applications, like drizzling over salads and vegetables, or cheeses. For a delicious dressing, combine 4 parts Picual Extra Virgin Olive Oil with 1 part red wine or Sherry Wine vinegar, salt and pepper, and a pinch of sugar. The olives are farmed and harvested in the family-owned estate of La Valenciana, in Andalucía.
