Country Pate with Black Pepper
Great for a crowd! A rustic and piquant pate made in the "country style" way, as you will find it in the French countryside. Serve with a fresh side salad and some rustic French baguette. Also lovely with mustard and cornichons. Fabrique Delices' line of "Traditional Pâtés" are made the artisanal way according to Authentic French recipes. These pates are preserved with contain ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) and sodium nitrite to maintain taste, color and freshness, allowing a longer shelf life the way it has been done in France for centuries. 8 weeks shelf life refrigerated.
Ingredients: Pork, pork liver, egg white, water, salt, modified cornstarch, red wine, isolated soy protein, black pepper, sugar, sodium phosphates, spices (bay leaves, thyme, cloves, nutmeg), granulated garlic, ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), sodium nitrite. Topped with water, gelatin, vinegar, salt, carrageenan, caramel color.

Q: Is this pate garlicky? I don't mean, does garlic override every other flavor, but rather is there enough garlic to enhance the pate. Also, are there chunks of meat in the pate? I can't tell from the picture.
A: The granulated garlic does enhance the taste. It will not be overpowering at all. This pate may contain some small chunks of pork meat.
Q: Can it be frozen?
A: Yes, the product can be frozen for up to 4 months. Any longer and it might loose taste and color.
