Taleggio Vero
This Taleggio Vero comes from the lovely region of Valssasina in Lombardy, at the foot of the Alps, from local producers who use alpine milk. It ripens faster than other Taleggio, and has a great sweet and fruity flavor, balanced with a great earthy robustness. Taleggio is a washed rind cheese, so the rind is orange, protecting a paste that is firm and pliable. Great for a cheese board or for melting.
Ingredients: Pasteurized whole cow's milk, salt, rennet.
