Craft delicious individual tarts! We are all about elaborate cooking, but sometimes, we just want to craft gourmet goodies as if by magic. Raw, frozen, perfectly shaped and ready in their little cardboard shells, these sweet pastry shells are just the thing we've been needing! Just fill with your choice of filling, pop in the oven and bake. No dough rolling, heaven! Bake while frozen in shells at 190°C (375°F) for 9 minutes.

Q: Are they certified kosher?
A: The Pastry Shell - Sweet, 4 Inch, Raw, Frozen are not kosher certified.

Q: Do you need to blind bake these for a fully baked shell? Is this a pate sucree or more of a sweet brisee?
A:

Depending on the type of filling used, the Pastry Shells might need to be pre-baked: these shells should be baked at 375°F for 9 minutes, so if the filling needs to be baked for a longer time it would be better to have them baked separately. The shells are closer to a pate sucree, as they are sweetened.

A: About 2 oz it can hold but it is a shallow and wide shell. 

Q: How long do I leave them in the oven for cheesecake... Do I have to wrap them in foil first for cheesecakes. What temperature
A: The Pastry Shells can be used for cheesecakes. The shells need to be baked at 375°F for 9 minutes, in their own cardboard shells.

Q: Is this to shallow to make mini pies? If so what is your recommendation. We are making individual pies for a shower using pumpkin, apple/fruits and pecan.
A: The height of these shells is 0.5inch. They can be used for baking mini pies.

A: These pastry shells can be used to make mini pies. The shells should be baked at 375°F for 9 minutes. We do not recommend baking them for 50 minutes.

A: The shelf life of these shells is 12 months, kept frozen.

A: Yes, these are flaky shells. Their depth is 0.5".

A: These shells come in little individual cardboard shells, not tins.
