Anasazi Beans - Dry
This Native American bean is named after the Anasazi tribe of the Southwest. This tribe was the first to cultivate this bean, and today it is cultivated in the same lands that the Anasazi dwelled at. This beautiful ancient bean is recognized for it's purple-red and white splotches, a pattern that looks like the marks on a pinto horse. The flavor is creamy and mildly sweet. Use for soups, burritos, salads, rice recipes and pretty much any Southwestern and Latin dish.
Ingredients: Anasazi beans.
